Be Myself 等待花開的靜兒

寫essay的途中想到一個好好的新聞例子,
於是到scmp / 英文虎報查查有沒有2006年12月27-29日的新聞。
結果, 不是沒有, 但是要付錢。
我沒有理由為了一篇新聞付hk$399, 於是, 我去了別的找。
最後, 我在The New York Times找到我要的台灣地震新聞。

The New York Times 可以免費查回1981年的新聞,
為什麼我們香港的不可以?
要是我真的看少少資料, 三百多元是完全不值得,
可否有別的選擇, 如one day pass, 或許我會考慮的。

這次回到英國, 除了學業外,
就是要爭取時間考Apple Certified Pro Certificate。

第一個就是: Final Cut Pro Level 1 -> 合格了。
第二個就是: Motion 3 -> 準備應戰。

FCP Level 1 K.O. 後, 興奮。
因為可以進級申請考Level 2, 明天就致電給爸爸拿approval!!
另一方面, 就是我的大名將可以在apple.com內出現, 真的從沒想過。

暫時興奮完畢。
考完試累得很, 跟周公子來過約會。

新學期開始了!
本學期我只淨下media law這一科。
上課時間超差, 傍晚5時至8時, 又肚餓又眼訓。

昨天是libel law, 誹謗罪。
深得很, case多得很, 老師說話只有一個tone,
再加上我食了傷風藥, 好眼訓好眼訓!!
上了一半理論後, 還看了一齣75分鐘的電影。
整部電影都是libel law, 是一件審了300幾天的誹謗案件。
McDonald 控告兩位派傳單數McDonald不是的人, 結果是McDonald敗訴。
雖然電影並不悶, 但那些什麼什麼secrets act, 聽得我頭暈!!!

整堂我記得最清楚就是這一句 : Free Speech is not Free Speech!!
咁要Free Speech 做什麼呢?

就正如民間電台要free speech, 但他們要的free speech根本就不等於法律上的free speech!!

既然definition不同, constrains有別, 為什麼不另起新terminology。

我今早極不願起床,
明明是假期, 為什麼我天天都要早起,
為的都是看readings, 看一大堆字,
找資料, 然後又要寫一大堆字。
好討厭, 好忟憎。
忍不下去了。
學媽媽話齋: 冇理由"紮"過年。
所以, 我勁寫勁寫勁寫....誓要明天前, 07年完結前完成所有功課。
現在還欠一千字左右。
明天繼續開turbo, 一定要把它寫完, 然後出去count down!!!!

我就是要看看究竟有幾多修辭,語法,結構等等
究竟這個故事想說出什麼?
而且, 為什麼聖經是一本文學作品?

很難啊!!!

Genesis Chapter 1

1. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

2. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

3. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

4. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

What i found out in Genesis Chapter 1

1. Story start with "in the beginning" (a typical beginning of a story), mention 6 days creation (in a progress and in a order/sequence which tells us what is going on), is using 3rd person narrator

2. Genre - Narrative 3. God - a central character with certain quality

- have spirit

- he appears many times in the story to show his importance and his power

- he gives speech (God said)

- he gives action (God created, God made, God saw..)

4. The face of the Deep, the face of the water, the greater light, the lesser light - Metaphor

本年第一份assignment result終於都出了
幸運的我, 合格了, 成功過關!
二零零八年, 還有六份assignment + 論文等著我。

我要同文字玩遊戲!!!!!!

這星期真的很不順景,
論文proposal寫好了, 想約tutor傾傾,
可是她整個星期都沒有office hours,
這也算了, 她恨恨地把我的proposal退回。
只說不好, 重做!
重大的打擊, 繼而, 我只好一天內重做給她,
這次, 也是退回, 但全份功課給她改得體無完膚。
那刻, 心想....真的有這麼差嗎?
是我表達能力有問題嗎?
我只好改, 又改了一天。但她還不停要求更多東西,
又要bibilography,
又要說明確實的例子。
真的被她迫得要找枱底避避。

除此之外, 又通宵capture mini dv, 和burn dvd,
沒有好好睡,
心情跌跌跌。

還在editing suite留了20個小時。
天昏地暗, 片只是剪了四份一。
天呀!!!!

整個星期都沒看readings
快擔心得要死!

還有三星期, 快點過吧!!

常常都說離開是為了回來
我又重巴黎回到英國
忙過不停的日子又再一次開始

今天定了剪接時間表, 而且訂了equipment等等
22/11, 23/11, 28/11, 29/11, 3/12, 5/12, 6/12, 11/12
這通通都是我的死刑日!!

還有28/11的論文大綱。

本以為聖誕的來臨可輕鬆, 可是, 還有兩份essay要做。
苦苦的節日!

差不多準備好下學期其中三科的readings
一共28公斤, 真嚇人!
當然, 我絕不會將28公斤notes帶上飛機。
這幾個星期六日, 努力地把notes 電子化, 轉做pdf。
差不多500mb = 1隻dvd。
這樣, 就可以輕鬆地帶回英國。

Clement在英國找到屋了。
我今年未回到英國已有屋住了，謝謝clement和兩位未來的同屋新朋友。
我的新屋是在 St. Martins Close, Uxbridge, Middlesex。
雖然比上年的，離town遠很多很多，離學校也遠一點，
但始終有屋了，不用擔心這麼多。
